The Cambria County Economic Development Authority – CCEDA is a local government authority set up by the Cambria County Commissioners to bring growth and development to south – central Pennsylvania. Our purpose is to facilitate the economic growth of our county by putting people and resources together in the most meaningful way. We work to promote business creation, expansion and relocation throughout the Johnstown-Cambria County area. Primary stakeholders include business owners, managers, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists.

We interface with these individuals on a daily basis answering questions and connecting them to local businesses who may be seeking a customer relationship or strategic alliance. In a real sense, we are an “ad hoc” business development department for many local companies. We do this by working with local, regional, state and federal partners to help businesses find the right site and the best financial assistance through various grant, loan and tax-credit programs. On the local level, we work closely with county and local government and organizations like Johnstown Area Regional Industries, the Cambria County Industrial Development Corporation, the Greater Johnstown-Cambria County Chamber of Commerce, CCN Properties, the Johnstown Redevelopment Authority and St. Francis University Small Business Development Center. Regionally we work with the Southern Alleghenies Planning & Development Commission and the Pennsylvania Foreign Trade Zone Corporation. On the state level we coordinate with the Pennsylvania’s

Department of Community & Economic Development and Governor’s Action Team. Federally we work with the US Department of Commerce. We are familiar with those elements necessary to bring successful projects to fruition. Come to Cambria County, PA and Expect the Best.”
